FSU Nuclear Physicists Bring Physical Science to Everyone!

“To shortchange physical sciences is to shortchange our future” - Michigan Governor John Engler

• Prof. Sam Tabor directs the biennial “Flying Circus of Physics,” which has attracted thousands of visitors to the FSU Physics Department.
• Prof. Mark Riley and Prof. Sam Tabor visit schools to bring the excitement of science to students.
• Hundreds of students visit the Superconducting Linear Accelerator Laboratory every year.
• Prof. Larry Dennis brings Internet technology to K-12 classrooms through technology workshops for teachers and the PACT program.
• Prof. Paul Cottle is an organizer for the “Motion, Forces and Energy” workshop for grade 3-5 teachers.
