The department houses 40 teaching faculty members, 20 associated Ph.D. physicists, 115 graduate students, and 40 technical/support staff. FSU is home to the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, the only facility of its kind in the USA. Through numerous research partnerships faculty members participate in research at National and International Labs such as Argonne, Brookhaven, Oak Ridge, Fermilab, CERN and more. Student stipends and teaching assistantships are available. Dedicated graduate housing is available including family accommodation.
